2013 African Cup of Nations : Djamel Haimoudi (Algeria) for the final.

Algerian referee Djamel Haimoudi has been selected by CAF to officiate during the final of the 29th Africa Cup of Nations currently taking place in South Africa.
Haimoudi is 42 years old (born December 10, 1970 in Oran) and has been an international referee since 2004.

He was a referee at the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana, the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Colombia and the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon/Equ.Guinea . He has also refereed a number of CAF Champions League matches, as well as FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
He represented CAF referees during the last World Club Championship in December in Japan.
In 2012, he was selected by CAF as the African Referee of the Year at the 2012 CAF Awards in Accra, Ghana. He is also among the referees  pre-selected for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

This final match between Nigeria & Burkina Faso will be his 4th match during this competition after South Africa vs Cape Verde (0-0, opening game), Mali vs DR Congo (1-1) and Ivory Coast vs Nigeria (1-2, Quarter Final)

He will be assisted by assistant referees Redouane  Achik  (Morocco) and Jean-Claude Birumushahu  (Burundi). The 4th official will be Rajindraparsad Seechurn  (Mauritius).
